Adding a new routine Control Logix

I am farely new to the whole automation world>
I have a Control Logix program and would like to add a new routine but that option is greyed out. I am able to view the routine and any other routine just not add a new routine??

If the controller key switch is in the run position that would prevent any changes to the logic. That is one of a number of possible reasons.

What version of RSLogix 5000 are you using? What type of program are you trying to edit?

Some versions of RSL5000 do not permit editing in certain circumstances.

Ladder logic program

Sorry. I should have been more precise. What edition of RSL5000? Starter, Professional, etc.

Also, in RSL5000, ladder logic is the type of subroutine which is added under the Program which is under the Task.

So, you are attempting to add a subroutine under what type of program?

I figured it out.
Program must of had a glitch, just had to shutdown RSL and fire it back up and now it works.
