Unknown Password

Six years ago a contractor came in and installed four Micrologix 1100 controllers. One of them has failed and I need to get a program uploaded so I can install a new controller. The installers have since left that company and nobody here knows what the master password is nor has anyone ever accessed them. Is there a way to recover it? Do I have to write a new program?

Password recovery is not discussed on this forum. The Micrologix 1100 uses the same software as SLC 500 PLC's. I would suggest you use google for your search.
