Hello, I hope someone can answer my query below.

Scenario:
I have a Scada PC operating RSView32 runtime, and I’m using Kepserver as the OPC server.
I have a 2nd Scada PC, on the same network, but operating a different RSview32 runtime project and running a different kepserver project file.

My question is:
Can the RSView32 (OPC client) of the 2nd PC also “look at” the same tags of the Kepserver on my 1st ScadaPC?
(In other words, is it possible that Kepserver can serve 2 different clients at the same time?)

I’m using RSview32 v7.5 & Kepserver Enterprise v4.5. Thank you for reading this post.

Yes, of course. This is what an OPC server is for.

Now, accessing a KEPServer running on a remote computer via network could be a bit of a challenge. On KEPWare web site, there is a clear and concise guide on how to set up DCOM properly.
