What I am looking for in a good wire for some jam detect (12 vdc very low current) sensors:

>= 600v insulation
low temperature of -45 F, high temp of 120...

They will want 12 gauge wire cheap as we can get it, but 16 gauge would be fine with me, even in a two conductor cable would be better. We have several applications where we could use anywhere from 16 AWG to 4 AWG single conductor wire for circuits inside the freezers.

I didn't have much luck googling, surely there's some term or type code I am unfamiliar with...

Thanks,
Paul

It may not be the prettiest or cheapest cable around but I have always found EPR/CSP Ship Wiring cable works better in Freezer Tunnel/Cold Store applications than anything else. Low temperature versions of PVC type plastics never seem to work very well and in some cases simply disintegrate in these environments.
