We've Allen Bradley 1756-IF16 analog input. Our signals are intrinsic safe signals, so we have intrinsic safe isoltaors MTL 5041 between PLC and instrument at field. Isolators and PLC are in same cabinet and powered by same 24VDC supply. we have about 13 signals and all are intrinsic safe (wiring will be single ended current type).
My question is, can i connect the analog signal from isolator to 1756-IF16. Does it going to be any issue because of the isolator output which is floating? Attached MTL 5041 data sheet also.
Same question for the analog out signal from 1756-OB8 which will be connected to MTL5045 intrinsic isolator.
