As far as I know, there does not exist any free DCS software.
You can try to contact Siemens, ABB, Foxbore, or some other DCS vendors about documentation to read by yourself. They wont give you software or hardware for free. Courses also cost a lot.

But your effort seems strange to me. You cannot pass yourself off as an experienced or certified DCS programmer by selfstudying.
