I have 5 SCL 5/03s not networked to each other but each is connected to a PV100 using DH485. And 2 PLC 5s not networked to each other but communicating to their own PV900 over DH+.

I need to network all PLC to an RSView station. I know I can create 2 networks one DH485 with 1747-AIC cards and the DH+ network is simple.

My question is there a way to get all PLCs on Ethernet? What hardware do I need for the SLCs and PLC5s. I do not want to change the processors to 5/05. I know no solution will be cheap but if it is better I think I spend the money.

thanks all

A DH485 network with 5 SLC5/03s and 5 PVs and 1 RSView PC would be quite limited in performance.

Only "cheap Ethernet" way is to use 1769-NET-ENI modules to connect to each processors serial port
(channel 0).
But there are issues with the low performance of these modules.

For the PLC5s you could attach a 1785-ENET "sidecar" to each processor.
