hi, i m doing project on siemens s7-200 (cpu-212).micro/win, the programing software currently communicating with PC/PPI cable.
for SCADA, i m using WinCC(version-4.01) which i programmed for pc adapter(MPI).WinCC do not support PC/PPI protocol.

now,plc can be programmed for MPI.so, what hardware i require so that SCADA also communicate.

also, plz. explain me how it will work.also some related links if possible.

thanx......

WIN CC supports OPC. So you can set up an OPC connection to the S7-200 via PPI.

Siemens OPC server for PPI: SIMATIC MicroComputing 6ES7810-2MS00-0YX0 (only ONE PPI connection !).

For 3rd parties: There are LOTS of hits of you try "PPI OPC server" on google !
