I used CPM1-MAD-11 analoge input which give 1/6000 resolution.
Its not 12 bit (4096) and not 16 bit but it work good with weightig
head analoge output.
The CPM1 MAD01 is 1 to 255
CPM1 MAD11 1 to 6000
C200H ad003 1 to 4000
CS1W AD081v1 1 to 4000 OR 1 to 8000
CJ1W AD081V1 1 to 4000 OR 1 to 8000.
For devicenet look at the DRT1-AD04H devicenet analogue cards, they can give you 1 to 32000.
Here's a thought about a weigh cell...
You say that you want 16bit ( lets assume 1 to 32000) and you are measuring a silo (that just so happens to be mounted outside).
And...lets assume that 1kg = 1 bit.
If you are using a single point detection won't the enviromental conditions such as wind or temperature affect the readings. It won't take much.. I believe that you could use two weigh cells and average the difference to give a more accurate reading.
Whill I reading Sleepy post I rememberd that I made something like that with RS232 I added 2 ports to my CQM and connected to the scale
You can do it also with RS485.
Just a thought.
CS1W-PTS11 is 16-bit and accepts +/- 100mv.
CS1W-PDC11 is 16 bit and accepts 4-20ma, 0 to 5vdc, +/- 5vdc, +/= 10vdc, 0-1.25 vdc, +/- 1.25vdc.
All of the above are isolated inputs.
