PV600 Ethernet to SLC5-05

Hello , Does anyone know if it's possibel to comunicate a Panel View 600 to a SLC 5-05 CPU with a direct cable RJ45 POINT-POINT? ---Without a HUB---

mmm Intersting. there is a similar post "PV600 to 5/05 via ethernet and more..." by DairyBoy posted in November 27th, 2007, 07:51 AM.

Seems to be possible connect a SLC 5-05 to a PV 600 via Crosover cable without a HUB.

And Mickey is there. haha

Thanks Mickey, I have the cable ready but i Stil have problems with the config.
I just wanted a single config, just to make a test of the communication between PC and CPU 5\05. But it's more difficult than i thought.

I have problems with a IP for PV and CPU
For the PV:
IP is 159.157.11.94
Subnet Mask is 255.255.255.0

For the CPU:
IP is 159.157.11.95
Subnet Mask is 255.255.255.0

any suggestion ? clues?

That should work. If you can post the programs for the SLC and the PV. Zip them first.

What problem(s) are you having? Error messages?

if you have a HUB it will assist you for test purposes to ping both.
I normally keep a 4 Port Switch for site work of this nature
