I've received some great answers from existing posts on other threads on this forum on some other issues I've had with Red Lion programming tips...
I've been looking for information regarding the use and testing of the XCGSM add-on option card for the Data Station Plus. I am currently trying to setup and configure this to send e-mails/texts when certain alarms are present.
Since I'm new to this option, I'm not sure on some of the setup options. I'de also like some tips on how to configure some primitives/ screen boxes to monitor the status of the card and connection for debugging purposes.
What's worked well in testing and setting this up for some of you in the past?
The info I have for setup:
APN-
Static IP-
gateway - provided by network
username - none
password -
so where would I put my information here... and how can I test this connection to see if it is working.
also, any preferences by anyone out there on a permenant vs. on demand connection?
Example programs would be great! any advice is welcome of course.
