Does anyone know of a good site for information about how to program or learn the IEC61131 format

Try Google, I just searched for "IEC61131" and it found 5,760 web pages.

And following their link to "IEC 61131" found a lot more.

Of course, Rock, you know that there is no such thing as "the IEC61131 format"

IEC 61131-3 is actually five separate languanges. And each PLC manufacturer has their own twist on how to implement those languages.

Instruction sets can differ. Memory accessing/addressing ALWAUS differs. And so on.

IED 61131-3 is a dream, and a marketing tool. Nothing more.
