I have an AB IMC S class servo connected throug DH RIO (rack 17) to a PLC 5. In the same trunk I have also a SLC rack (no processor) as a remote IO (rack 5 and 6). The PLC 5 DH por is flashing green and the servo port is flashing red. I used GML Commander and changed the port to B on the servo and have the same flashing LED on port B. Also changed the port on the PLC 5 and still the same problem. I look inside the PLC5 port status and rack 17 has many retries. I think the RIO port on the servo is bad... any other ideas? Any way to find out if the port is bad or not?
