point i/o on devicenet

update I have installed two point i/o cards on a devicenet trunk. I have added them to the scanlist. It sees them and tney have red boxes with a minus symbol at the top of them. I get the following error message in the box at the bottom of the screen

"12/30/1899 0:00:00","","The device at address 05 has experienced an identity communications error (80070057). Download failed."


What do you think?
 
update. When I do a network scan. I get the following error message

"12/30/1899 0:00:00","","Address 05, PointIO 8pt Analog Current Input was not found on the network. Diagnostics will not be performed on this device."
