cordset question

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows of a recoil style cordset, (standard m12), or if they exist anywhere other than my head. Seems like there must be something out there. A google search didn't yeild anything useful.

These are curled or spiral wound cords. recoail typically denotes cords that are rewound back into a housing by mechanical action like a auto hose rel for you shop air lines for air tools and such.

By "recoil style" do you mean one of those spring-loaded cord reels that you yank on (sometimes furiously) to make it retract? I've never seen one for M12 preassembled but you could use a field-wireable connector.

Turck makes a "coil style" M12 cordset:

I've used many of these types of devices for festoon systems,

although I don't have a part number on the tip of my tounge.

Is this what you're seeking? If so, then you could try one of these. I'm not recommending this particular brand, it's just the first thing that came up in Google©.
