S7 300 code

Hi All

I would like to code following in my plc:

Read a timer(T 1) from a server (I have already modbus comm. running).
Take snapshot of the value
After 5 seconds later take a snapshot of the value again
And compare these two snap shot value and see if they are equal to each other.

Do you have any suggestion in STL?
