a question for motion control

Hi guys

a question for E-Stop Kenitix 6500, when E-stop, does the server remenber actual position so can move from there when de-actived E-stop, or we need to write some code in PLC to make sure server remember the position.

Yes and No

Depend on what happens to the kinetics 6500 when you E stop it

If you maintain Power and uses the Safe Off then yes
If you remove power then the servo uses the Absolute Zero when it powers up IF you have used Absolute Zero to zero the axis then Yes - If you have used a different Zero method or Motion redefine Position (MRP) command then No
