Mitsubishi MR-J2S-100A4 - test without servomotor

Hello,
I have Mitsubishi MR-J2S-100A4 ("new" from box, not connected anywhere) I'm trying to test it, but after I connect +24VDC it shows constantly AL.16 error (no encoder connected). I don't have got dedicated motor, so how could I 'fool' the system and clear that error for tests?
