Hi guys,
is possible that nobody has tried to get the PPI protocol with a protocol analyzer?
Is this a difficult operation?

I just wonder, why they are not open and why we don't require so, when we ask offer from PLC-dealers ?

I'm sure some have tried. But because this protocol is Siemens property, I don't think anybody is willing to risk a lawsuite by publishing what they've found out about it.

They have a demo for PPI communications dlls, and a monitoring system for S7-200 PLCs.
