Hi,

I am wanting to generate an alarm in the HMI if comms to the PLC is interrupted for any reason. I know I can use system diagnostics, but prefer not to (slows compile of PLC, too much info etc.)

I can generate an alarm in the PLC using the area pointer - coordination, but would like something similar in the HMI.

I'm thinking I may need a script, but have little experience with VB.

:)
