Hi All,

I want to know PowerFlex tag stucture.

I have question regarding this.
1) Like in Control Logix we can define/Create Tags. Can we create tags like this in PowerFlex.
I am asking this because in Drive Executive tool I have seen that if we create new device it will ask you device type like Powerflex 70 , 700,70EC , 70 AC after that it will ask you main board version and after that it will ask configuration version.
doing this and clicking on Finish botton it will show you configuration with groups and tags like Motor,Motor control till this point we have not connected to any IP but it is creating this configutaion.
2) I want to understand PCCC command formate for Powerflex 70 EC device.
I read DF1 document but I dont know command paramenter formate and stucture.
Can you please help me how I should understand this PCCC commands.
3) Can I get configuration from Powerflex device from CIP or PCCC protocol programatically.

Can you please help on above questions.

Thanks in advance.

What is mean by Stop Assertd. How it should be in running mode.

It means that the last received command was the "Stop" one (Bit 0 of P271 = 1).
In order for the drive to be running Bit 1 (Start) of P271 has to be true, Bit 0 (Stop) has to be false and one of the Bits 4 (Forward) or 5 (Reverse) has to be true.
Remember that if there is "zero" Speed/Torque reference, the drive will be running at "zero" torque/speed.

There isn't any PowerFlex "Tag Structure" unless integrated within a Logix system; afterall, the drive's on-board processor is not a CPU; PowerFlex dedicated "Tags" are created within the RSL5K project at the moment of the drive's module addition; the "default" communications buffer contains two READ (Input) Words (Status and Feedback) and two Write (Output) words (Command and Reference; the relation between the drive's parameters and the RSL5K tags is explained within the above posted User and Reference Manuals links and within the User Manual of the chosen 20-COMM-x PowerFlex communications module.
