Hello friend,

Is it possible to retain value of Encoder (HSC0) in A270 and A271 during power failure ?

NO it is not possible.
You could save the value into a D register every program scan, but that will not be completely accurate.

I have never tried this. But is it possible to save the value from prv read into an h register and write that back into to A memory on first scan? I wish i had a test unit to try...

Hello HJTRBO

I have tried using MOV/MOVL instruction to move H register value into A register but Cx-Prog giving error. So we cant do that way.
