Alternation of 1784-U2DHP

Hi all.
I got a new PC just now, and this PC doesn't support PC Card, so I cannot use the PCMK card any more.
The RA guys recommended 1784-U2DHP, but it is so expenssive. Do you know there is any other product can replace 1784-U2DHP.

The only solution I have is to carry around an older laptop with the PCMCIA slot.

Has anyone tried a "USB to PCMCIA card adapter" that could accept the PCMK card?
If this would work, it may be a solution.
