Hy, we need to connect, a master with 1 profibus port, to a slave with 1 profibus port, using two parallel profibus cables. Which hardware can we use for this? Could it be repeaters? Or couplers? Thank you

You could use the combricks repeaters from procentec and achieve redundancy. Have a look at www.procentec.com
If you use Profinet, you have to use components that a MRP compliant. Most current Profinet devices are MRP compliant.
You have to arrange the Profinet in a ring. It is not enough to just install a switch at each end and parallel cables between the switches.
