versapro GE comm port

Dear all, i am using a usb to serial for communicating my laptop to VMax micro
however versapro 2.04 is showing only comm 1-4.whereas the serial converter port is showing comm 8.

Is there any solution to this prob.prompt reply is appreciated.thanks.

Assign the USB/serial converter to a COM port number of 4 or lower.
