Hi,
I am looking at using a ML1400 to drive 3x servos with Pulse Outputs, but would prefer to use a 5000 series if I could.
Can anyone suggest if the L1/L2 series would do the same thing?
Can't seem to determine if they can have Pulse Outputs..?

Cheers

Hmm, looks interesting.
But only single axis per module, means I would have to have 3 of them which would end up being quite expensive.
Think will focus on the ML1400...

The embedded high-speed pulse output circuitry is one of the features that leads me to use MicroLogix 1400 instead of CompactLogix for some small projects.

I'm not a big fan of the AMCI POINT modules. We used a couple and found them to be very complex and less reliable than we had hoped; we ended up putting in a lot of logic to test to be sure they'd actually done what we commanded them to do. Your mileage may vary, as I was using them with a 1734-ADN instead of on a L16/L18 backplane. The 1769 versions of the AMCI modules have a better reputation.
