Siemens S7-1200 & SM1232 Analog Out

Hi everyone,

Anyone familiar with Siemens can help me on this :

I have 1 SM1232 Analog Output Card, output -10 to +10 VOltage.
I have 2 Analog output. 1 to 3 drives & 1 to Actuator. All device are 0 to 10V signal.

My first question is : what is the range for 0 to +10 ?? there is 1 drive I put 0 to 150,000 to read 0-460V on the Drive but I did not check on ANalog card VOltage out.
I use the same Function for 3 drive, 1 work well (0-150,000 ~ 0-460V) but the other two cannot get over 9500 (about 4 V when I read from drive) despite to whatever I put in.

Second question is: for the actuator, If i put in over 7000, red flashing light !!???

Basicly -10V...10V is -27648...27648.

So that is what I dont understand, when I scale it in range (0-27468), I put max 27000 but the drives G120C read from STARTER less than 10V cannot start the motor ??

well, technically, 27000 is less than 10V. 27648 = 10V

Don't really understand what your problem is.
I asume you have wired analog output of plc to drive to set speed setpoint:
0...10V --> 0..50Hz(0...60Hz).
You set drive speed setpoint to ~50Hz(60Hz) and it doesn't start?
Is drive configured?
If yes, does it receive start command when setpoint is set?

You know you have to unscale to an Interger (16 Bit)?
I believe you do your calc in REAL?
By the way if you want to use analog i/o 4 - 20 mA you have to use an offset on 5529.6.
5529.6 = 4mA
27648 = 20mA

try to set the hardware configuration of the module to you options (from 0 to 10 volt DC)
after that using scalling functions like FC105 for scalling and FC 106( using ing step 7 -300) for example if not possible you can use signal conditioner to convert from -10 to +10 to 0 to 10 volt
