I was wondering if you guys can help me as I am not that familiar with this topic.

What are the instances when you auto-tune a motor.
- Commissioning
- Replacing the motor?
- Replacing the gearbox?
- If load changes?

Also, does the load need to be connected to the motor during auto-tuning?

The reason I'm asking is because I need to know if this step is necessary during repair or can be incorporated into a regular maintenance check.

Thanks...
