Gentlemen,

I'm trying to find a suitable dampener to fit between a product line and a 4-20mA pressure transmitter. It must have sanitary process connections - preferably tri-clamp.

The reason for the dampener is to provide better control of homogenizer stuffing pressure. Currently, the stuffing pump speed varies too quickly. Regulations prevent the usage on electronic filtering or dampening of the signal from the pressure transmitter or of the signal from the process controller and the stuffing pump VFD, but mechanical dampening is allowed.

I envision something like a biscuit that fits betwen the process connections on the product line and pressure transmitter, but I can't find anything on-line.

Has anyone seen such a thing?
