Hello,

I have a 1747-L532 SLC503, I would like to execute a program under RSLogix500 from my PC to the PLC SLC503.
I have a RS232 to RS232 cable 1747-CP3. I connected the 1747 CP3 cable to the SLC503 DB9 port and the other end to the COM2 port on my PC.

The problem is that when I connect the cable to the SLC503, the light of the "RS232" button is always off, it does not light.

and when I going in RSLinx-> communication system-> configure drivers to configure my cable RS232 DF1, I selected "DF1 device" but I can not go online, it appears to me this message:

"emulator is decentralized"
"the target station is not a SLC500 PLC or micrologix"

Please someone can help me? 🤞🏻

Thanks

It looks like the SLC 5/03 Serial RS232 port(Chan.0-System) "stock" configuration has been altered or your PC's Serial Port has been configured to "Emulate" Channel 0 of a SLC CPU.
Do you have the RSLogix 500 Emulator installed on the same machine?
You might need to try connecting to the CPU via the DH485 comm. port(Chan.1-Syatem)using a DH485-to-USB interface (1747-UIC) or try deleting the RSLinx Harmony files (https://rockwellautomation.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/48241), reboot the PC and then give it one more try.
