Can anyone come up with a cheap solution
i want to drive a large 3 digit 7-segment display from a s7.
i know this would be straight forward, but i havent got any outputs left and dont want to buy another output card.
If there a cheap way to convert the profibus to a BCD output?

thanks for reading

Hi I used a red lion PAX unit on a previous job.. was good. Profibus connection

maybe you need a profibus-dp card to drive the display, you have to build .gsd file for it (with the parameters you need)and install the display in the network configuration as slave.
