Gem 80 to Siemens S7

I wish to set up communication between S7 300 PLC and GEM 80 PLC. Does anyone know of a product to convert the HDLC to TCP/IP protocol? Comsoft did a product (SNL2-E Gem 80) but I think it is no longer available. And we don't wish to go down the HPCi route with Converteam.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Google sent me to their website, and I found out that gem-80 supports Modbus TCP.
There is a Modbus TCP library from Siemens for the CPUs with integrated PN ports, and another Modbus TCP library from Siemens for the add-on CP343-1 module.

Thanks for the reply, we need to communicate over the Starnet (HDLC) protocol which is a Gem fast serial link from our S7.

For that to happen I think you need a protocol converter.

There is a Profibus DP slave that would fit right in to an S7.

IMHO the Modbus TCP route seems the simpler way (simpler = better).
