Surge Supressor for Relay Output Module?

Hi there,

If i am using the 1769-OW16 (Relay output module) as a contact for another PLC input module, would I need a suppressor or diode between the contact?

If yes, what type?

No. PLC input is not inductive.

if you would put a supressor in the input will go on due to the leaking of the supressor so dont use them.

Agree No suppressor required.
Probably 5mA load.
Careful of chattering on your input from the relay.
Might need a software DE-bounce filter.
