Programming Telemecanique TSX 17

I have lots of experience with Modicon and AB PLCs, but am unfamiliar with Telemecanque PLCs. I have a friend that has an automated car wash that uses a TSX17 for control of the car wash. He wants to make some small changes to the logic, but has no programmer. I have located a couple of programmers on EBay, but don't know if they come with the necessary programming software. Question I have is, do Telemecanque Programmers come with the necessary software to program, or is the software a separate purchase???? And if it is separate where can I acquire the software, does Schneider Electric provide free copies???
