Hi!
Im a newbie and dont have any experience in working with AB products, thats why my question is really simple. I have 1756-L55 that is constantly sending data to the server via ethernet. On the server we have RSview32, RSlinx, mssql2000, winXP installed. So, what i need is to retreive data from PLC and send it to a database. The 'data' is 8 constantly changing numbers. Now rsview32 writes data to .dbf logs, so as far as i understand, i just need to create ODBC connection between mssql2000 and .dbf. But how exactly it can be done? Maybe there is a simpler way? Maybe i can just use rssql to move data from rsview tag databse to mssql?
