Remote desktop onto siemens HMI's

Is there any way to remote desktop onto the new Siemens Comfort HMI's from a PC. To view and control the runtime. I've been using a ESA windows CE based HMI and they provide a remote access software which allows you to do this. If siemens don't provide a way of doing this. What version of windows CE do the HMI's use and would it be posible to put a thrird party RDP solution or VNC application which would still run in the background while the winCC runtime software was running.

Simatic WinCC Sm@rtServer.
VNC-like application which is nice if you have a OP as it provides an identical layout, buttons included.
If it's just a touchpanel without physical buttons, you should be able to install a VNC client in the WinCE.

Siemens' solution isn't free however. It requires a license per panel.

I have just done this using a 3rd party vnc server. It cost me less than £10 for a license and works a treat as long as you store the server in a retentive memory area of the screen. I got mine from here http://www.smartlab.at/mobilevnc/

Hi Barry
Can you tell me HOW you transferred mobilevnc to the MP?
I thought I was all over these panels, but I can't work this out, or how to put it in the CE start menu.
I have googled this, but it's eluding me, any help appreciated.

Is there a way of setting this up to monitor only, and not allow remote control?
