would you please help me to have answers to these tow questions:

Q1-I need to know how PLCS talk to each others (communicate via Ethernet).i know well about the CP cards .but what i really mean is about the software protocols(i.e TCP/IP).how can PLC make that protocol although no additional software downloaded to it except (H/W configuration and network configuration and the user program).
Q2-also if i need PC to communicate with Siemens PLC (i.e read and write data from/to PLC). what i have to do.

Q2-ans: U need either TIA or Simatic Manager (software) to talk with PLC or to send data to/from.

Q1-ans: There are some software blocks / instructions (TCON,TSEND, TRCV...) to be programmed, if PLC needs to talk each other
