Do you know how to read the IP address of the CompactLogix controller for use in logic task?

Hi

Is it that you want to read the IP address from you controller using code in the processor. If so I think you could get it using a gsv instruction but I never have done it myself

I believe the OP is wanting to do it dynamically within the program.

You can do it through CIP Explicit messaging. One such thread:
