Controlloxi 1400 and ADAM 6150eI

I meant to say Micrologix 1400. I am trying to turn ON/OFF the outputs of an ADAM 6150ei with a Micrologix 1400. I keep getting the message "error, device refuse the connection", we are trying to access the module via TCP/IP. Any suggestion?

Didn't think you could attach E/IP to a micro 1400 ?? How are you trying to talk to it ??

Modbus TCP would work thou (with an adam MB TCP module..)

I was thinking the same thing. I am pretty sure you can use a Compact/Control Logix processor and make it work if you download the EDS.

With the ML1400 you may be stuck using TCP/IP and messaging.

We've used messaging (CIP Generic - Read Assembly and Write Assembly) from a Micrologix to/from an Ethernet/IP drive and had very acceptable results.
