Inview dh485 module

I need InView P22R to be communicated through DH485 communication module. I have programmed the inview and also in PLC (PLC 5/40) , but i am unable to download the communication configuration to the DH 485 module.

The DH485 communication module that i have is " INVIEW DH485 MODULE" Cat No: 2706-PDH485P.

I tried downloading the configuration to DH 485 module through serial communication.
Default settings
COM 1;
Cable used is : 2711-NC13

Downloading screen appears but it is unable to identify the operating terminal.

Can u tell me how u configure the Invew DH485 communication module.

I also have a Invew RIO module how to download the communication settings to it.

The 2711-NC13 cable is not correct for downloading to the module:


all use the 2711-NC13 (5 m/16 ft) -OR- 2711-NC14 (10 m/32 ft) -OR- 2706-NC13 (3 m/10 ft)

Can u please tell me how to download program to INVIEW DH 485 comm module.

In Manual it says that "The DH485 communication module requires you to download
the application over the DH485 network. You cannot download
over the RS232 port on a DH485 communication module"

How to do that with out RS-232 Port 1747-PIC cable

Page 37 of the manual says:
Connect a Computer

On InView DH-485 communication modules, applications are

To connect a computer to the InView communication module, you need:

a cable (same cables used to transfer applications from APS software to SLC)

– 1.83 m (6 ft) cable, catalog no. 1747-C10
– 6.1 m (20 ft) cable, catalog no. 1747-C20

Personal Computer Interface Converter (PIC), catalog no.​

1747-PIC. The PIC connects to the computer. The cable connects the PIC to the DH-485 programming connector.​
