This is my first time using a 1500.
Now that it's installed I see that the minimum change (input) is 128 bits. I suppose this is what's meant by "low resolution"? I remember buying this (forever ago) as I use the output to power my linear pots in lieu of a 10VDC supply. Seemed like a good plan at the time.

Anyhow, this equates to .005" in my application. Not very good. It's determining positions of a hydraulic cylinder on my injection press.

With this in mind, how much better would the IF4 module be?
I'd like to get more accuracy

Showing my ignorance here...

Thank you!

Thanks Mickey
I've been searching to figure out where this is located...
Does a similar sheet exist for the If4xOf2 for me to compare?
I have a spare input on my IT-6 module. Would it be better?
One decent input would work for me.
Thanks a bunch !
