Hi
Sorry I know this is off topic. I need to source a manway gasket which looks to be a custom order

600 OD x 445 ID. 520mm bolt diameter, 16 26mm holes, 3mm thick

ASA flange of 597 with holes at 540 does not fit

Is this a non standard size?

Have you ever cut one yourself with some sheet material and a ball peen hammer? It is pretty easy to do, especially if you have a new spare flange with nice sharp edges. 3mm thick might be a lot harder to cut that way. I think we usually used thinner materials.

There is a gasket company near here that can make anything but I am not sure of the costs and it might take time to get it made and shipped up there...

Love it! Back in the day, when I was a poor farm boy and an even poorer college student, I made a lot of gaskets that way. For auto engine thermostats I was even able to successfully substitute old tablet backs for real gasket material.🍺

Hi
Yes I have done that many times over the years and used wad punches for the bolt holes

However these are PTFE and I need 36 of them lol

I have been quoted ÂŁ100 each and the ASA150 standard was ÂŁ60 but did not fit....

I think I will just pay the extra

Thanks all
