Hi,
I would like to make my own basic PLC analyser tool like autem PLC analyser to use on a s7-300. I have some experience in c++ programming but not done any for a long time so it will be a learning curve again.

I do not know how I will connect and communicate with the PLC I guess I need to know the s7 ethernet protocol? Can anybody help me with this or point me in the direction of some sample source code?

Thanks
