Unity Pro XL Function Code 2

Hi

I am using the DATA_EXCH block to read data over Serial 485 Modbus. I need to poll inputs 1X00000 registers. The RECP of the DATA_EXCH block is an array of integers. How will these digital populate the array or will it not work. Many Thanks
