Installation of 1211C DC/DC/RLY

Dear All,

I have a brand new siemens 1211C DC/DC/RLY CPU. I tried to program it but the CPU does'nt goes online and it shows a broken link on the TIA Portal.

Is there any installation or configuration need to done before starting to work with the PLC?

If yes, please guide me the steps.
