Anyone done a PLC to SCADA communication with over 100meters distance.

Hi,

I have several customers that have used our wireless bridges for up to 300meters, using both Profinet and Modbus TCP. They will work with EtherNet/IP and BACNet/IP as well or any other standard ethernet protocol.

Sure, PLC <-> Switch <-> Fiber <-> Switch <-> Hmi,SCADA, whatever else you'd like.

I agree. 100 meters is not really a very long distance, but I'd go with fiber.
