What are you trying to do? What power? Why use A PLC?
Is it existing machine? What do they have now?
There are couple of positioning modules for A series PLC
but IMHO, A is ok for upgrades only, it is too old for
new installations. You can find cheaper and much more
powerfull PLCs in smaller form factor.
If you go to
Mitsubishi website You will find couple of manuals
for products that could be used for this. If I had to do it,
I'd probably look into A1SD75M1/M2/M3.
