Bachmann PLC

Hello Friends,
Currently I am working on Bachmann PLC... I searched on internet for bachmann help but rarely found any help. if somebody is already working on Bachmann or have experties...plz help to understand the bachmann PLC.

I also would like to start programming Bachman PLC, I allready have one, but I'm not sure about the sortware.

Can I use standard Codesys software, or I need a customized one from Bachman side?

If there anybody has the SW for Bachmann programming, coul you please share it?

Most CODESYS hardware makers have their own customized version of the Programming Software. Sometimes it is just branding and preinstalling the device descriptions.

If you ask the CODESYS hardware maker if they have the device description files so you can program with your standard CODESYS programming software, they will sometimes give them to you. Some have them available for download from their website. If you have an existing machine, often the project archive contains all the necessary device descriptions, so you can just open that.

Sometimes though, the hardware maker has their own custom plugin that doesn't work with standard CODESYS in which case you need to get their IDE.

I haven't used Bachmann, let us know if they let you use standard CODESYS once you find out.
