protocols

Not had your morning coffee yet Jesper? 🍺

I often wonder if any of these questions are ever posted from a mobile during an actual exam?

Demandfivehd,

I'm sure this is not the first time you have read those terms?
Surely you have "some" knowledge of what they mean?

What is Ethernet?

Do you know what the acronyms LAN and WAN stand for?

What is the main difference between LAN and WAN?

What is the main difference between a wired Ethernet Network and a Wireless Network?

If you cannot at least answer these fundamental questions, then you are far from ready to describe in more detail each of the terms in your question.

p.s. They are not all protocols.

Tom,

The coffee was purely a joke...

I hadn't read the OP's other posts when I replied to this one.
I'm more than inclined to agree with Jesper!

Describe each of the following networks given below.

a) Ethernet
b) LAN
c) WAN
d) Wireless Network

Ethernet is a network of clouds of ether. Ether is needed to transport wireless waves.
LAN is some kind of beer they drink at parties. Hence the name LAN party.
WAN is fictional character, married to OBI. They had one son.
Wireless network: without wires :)

I think he failed this time last year.
Tried to pass this year with the same tactics.

Fail again yo yo.

If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port,
And the bus is interrupted as a very last resort,
And the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort,
Then the socket packet pocket has an error to report!
