Modbus TCP anf Ethernet TCP/IP

Hello,

I am having trouble finding information on MODBUS/TCP and Profinet on the same module card (Siemens CPU 317-2 PN/DP). Looking at a Seimens job, and an LED display. The display is a MODBUS client, and the rest of our equipment is connect via profibus. Can you use the S7 OpenModbus/TCP for the ethernet interface as well as the Profinet interface?

I think that you will require some extra card, like CP341?, to run the Modbus TCP/IP coms.
I would recommend to use a gateway such as the X-gateway instead of using in-rack cards, as they are less in price and easier to set up..
